Plan 9 From Outer Space – a 50 Year Anniversary Celebration
Published Date: August 22nd, 2009Category: SciFi
On Thursday, August 20, Rifftrax.com hosted a celebration of the extremely funny, sci-fi movie from the late 1950’s, Plan 9 From Outer Space. They convened in Nashville at a local movie theater and broadcast to multiplex theaters across the country. The format was similar to the old MST3K shows and the Rifftrax guys [Michael J. Nelson, Kevin Murphy (Tom Servo) and Bill Corbett (Crow T. Robot)] were great! We not only got to see the movie and hear their commentary, but we were serenaded by Jonathan Coulton as well, with such songs as “I Want To Eat Your Brain”, to which the audiences were encouraged to chant the title as if they were the zombies the song was about.
YES – I’M BACK – ENJOY!!
