This season hasn’t been as good as the last couple of seasons, but things have just started heating up.
The season started with everyone being paired up then recently went back to being everyone out for themselves.
Ryan, as HOH, was in the position of having everyone wanting to make deals to keep themselves in the house. He found out that a group had allied to target one of his closest friends in the house, Matt. This group promised Ryan immunity from going on the block for 2 weeks if Ryan would backdoor Matt if someone was taken off the block this week.
It certainly seemed like a no-brainer and Ryan agreed to do just that.
Then Sheila, spurred by an offhand comment from Chelsia, started playing the game. She took Ryan aside and told him the group was just playing him and that he should side with the rest of the house and put someone from the group on the block instead.
Who knew Ryan was ripe to jump ship? And even I didn’t realize when I saw it happen how much perfect sense it made that he put James up on the block with Sharon! Too perfect: the group consists of 2 ex-couples, Joshuah & Sharon and James & Chelsia. What better way to break up this group than to put one from each couple on the block? With Sharon on the block it only made sense to put up James. Now what’s left of the group, Joshuah and Chelsia, will be at odds about whom to choose to vote out of the house!
Is Ryan a genius or what? Except for one thing: he’s still stuck with his alliance which is ALSO comprised of 2 ex-couples: Sheila & Adam and Matt & Natalie! After this vote, there will be those 2 ex-couples, Ryan, Joshuah, Chelsia, and whichever of Sharon or James that is left. 4 against 4 possibly but only if his ex-alliance will have Ryan back in the fold which is highly unlikely, but what else can they do to keep the numbers?
Whatever happens, this could get ugly! It’s about time the season heated up!
