Wow, what a night! Didn’t see it coming when Michael let the first three guys “escape” into no-man’s land just to be caught! And then, with perfect timing, Scofield, Whistler, Mahone, and the basketball kid took their time and were able to safely make it out, right under the very noses of the cops who were trying to recover from utter chaos!

I loved the twist of having air cannisters in the cooler Linc and Whistler’s girlfriend had buried in the sand for the getaway - who would have guessed they could find that buoy way out in the middle of nowhere! And I even predicted that the basketball kid’s dad would go get them when it was clear Sucre had been held up, being questioned by the cops.

But poor T-Bag! He’s either losing his hands or having his genitals jump-started! And it seemed so close for Sucre to finally get his things and be free to help Michael, Linc, and the gang when T-Bag spied him through the window, right before the cop hooked up the juice and “refried his beans” as T-Bag put it!

Linc certainly is getting gutsy, telling “Susan” that he has the upper hand since he’s holding Whistler. She doesn’t know the book has been lost and now found by T-Bag of all people! She is also unaware that Whistler has escaped from Linc and Michael’s grasp. I’m wondering if Whistler and Mahone were working together to get Whistler to slip out and get the pickup.
