Kyle XY - Grounded - Review

teryl-rothery.jpgAs much as there are sci-fi elements to this show that originally drew me to watch, it’s the overwhelming feeling of family that keeps me coming back, and this episode certainly focused on just that.

Of course there was the hint that Amanda’s mother called the local child protective agency, but it looks like that was bogus all along, as the woman visiting the house under those auspices ended up reporting to the Latnok group. What do we really know about this group except that Brian seems to be telling Jessi that Kyle won’t be there for her when she needs him the most?

Almost had a cat fight when Jessi popped in at Kyle’s window, finding Amanda already hiding there! I thought for sure Jessi would tell on Amanda, but she was practically charming in front of the social worker.

I guess we have to wonder how patient Amanda will be as Jessi and Kyle will, no doubt, try to find out more about their past and their “parents” Adam and Sarah.
