This season of Survivor is proving to be quite interesting, but we may have lost one of the reasons why. The idea of fans vs. favorites seemed lame to me at first, but the fans aren’t a bunch of star-struck yokels, they are hungry to win the challenges, even when they don’t have the advantage of knowing how to build a shelter in a timely manner or how to find food, or even how to build a fire without flint!
So it came as quite a surprise when they brought all they had to the challenge, even calling the favorites “fat and happy”! As the fans pulled past the favorites in the first leg and never looked back, the favs actually stopped to watch the win, with their mouths hanging open in surprise!
At tribal council, Jonny followed through on the scheme he and Parvoti put together that he would pretend to want to go home so half the team would vote him off while Parvati would get her alliance to vote off Eliza, saving Fairplay.
Two questions: did he really want to leave or did Parvati pull one over on him?
So farewell to Fairplay, and here’s hoping there is someone still left to bring as much fun to the show as you did to the premiere episode!
