Eli Stone - Pilot - Review

eli-stone.jpgI fully expected to dislike this show and, even though there’s a writers’ strike going on, I don’t have time to add new shows to my regulars, but guess what??  This will be added because it’s not only heart-warming, something many people, even I, run from, but is truly funny.

Johnny Lee Miller, as a corporate lawyer who describes his firm as one that you won’t have heard of unless you’ve been screwed over by them or the corporations they represent, finds himself wondering about what his true values are in life.  He seems to have everything, including being engaged to the boss’ daughter.  That is, until singer George Michael appears to him in his living room, standing on the coffee table singing “Faith.”

I don’t know what they’ll do with the next episode but I’m certainly planning to watch!
