Have you noticed that Terminator:The Sarah Connor Chronicles and Kyle XY have something in common? I find that Jessi and Cameron share similar traits. Though Jessi is far from being Kyle’s protector, she tries hard to fit into school along with all the other angsty teens, while Cameron doesn’t know how to lie and soon she may have to kill someone, even if they aren’t threatening John Connor. And her unnatural behavior could bring the wrong kind of attention to both of them.

I also think this Sarah Connor is different from the Linda Hamilton one because she seems to be a pacifist. While Cameron tells Sarah to kill the young man she’s been dating, Sarah opts to destroy the mechanical chess-playing machine he has created. I though it was totally unclear if Andy could even become a part of Skynet, but Cam doesn’t want to take any chances, often erring on the more violent act rather than thinking first. Yes, the Sarah-Cameron dynamic is definitely going to be an interesting one.

Now if we can just find out how realistic Cromartie can make himself, if he can look as human as he did in the pilot. And what are the odds that he’ll ever find another scientist willing to provide the means by which he can “regenerate”if he ever loses his flesh again?cromartie.jpg

I think they have Sarah planned out to “evolve” over the course of the show to go from pacifist to more radical. The differences in personality are just too strong to be coincidentally at odds.

One thing I found more than interesting was the “real” facts about current AI technology bleeding in to the show. certainly for those of us who are more in to AI, it heightens the sense of realism or feelings that “this is really how it COULD start to happen”.

Yeah, I do have to agree with your poking fun at the killing of the scientist. Seems like a smart cyborg would have continued to suck more out of that willing host. oh well.
