My TV Musings

Well, as promised in the previous week’s previews, Jessi decides she needs some attention and walks on water while Hillary’s school videoblog is being recorded. What follows is a whirlwind of people following her every move, inviting her to the A-list parties. It isn’t until she is confronted by Hillary to actually do a stunt with everyone watching her that things get really bad. First Kyle threatens to jump off the top of a building with her, and Jessi freaks when Lori and Josh say they will do the same. At the last minute, when Jessi is about to jump, Kyle uses his knowledge of water and how he can affect it to create a gravitational pull on Jessi and causes her to fall backwards away from the roof edge. Jessi is humiliated in front of everyone and runs away.

Kyle catches up to her and makes her realize that the people who will more likely care about her are not the ones who are drawn to her stunt work, but those who understand that she is special in other ways.

Jessi’s father comes out to the Tragers as a member of the group who are looking out for Jessi and Kyle, as well as Adam Baylin. Since he is Jessi’s father, he has been taking care of her. Just when we think Jessi is ready to settle down and try to be a more normal person, she sneaks out at night, going where we do not know.

Perhaps we’ll find out next week when Amanda returns.
