Abby is still drinking, even after Luka told her his father died and he’ll be needing her
support more than ever.
And when Neela caught her drinking I almost cried at Abby’s reaction. I mean, Neela isn’t my favorite doctor on ER, by any means, but Abby blindsided her by asking what experience Neela had with relationships that worked. Burning bridges with your best friend is not the way to go.
But after all was said and done, Abby finally admitted her problem with drinking to Luka and that she could not travel with him and Joe to Croatia, but instead must check herself into a rehab clinic to dry out. I certainly hope it takes, because this old Abby I do not like at all!
