Private Practice – In Which Addy Finds a Showerhead – Review

Most would agree that this is a very sexy show. This episode proves its obsession with sex, from the implications of the title to most of the storylines:
The cute receptionist/midwife, Cooper, does his first round of pelvic exams and has to disqualify himself due to the interest he gets from his patients until finally he mans up and gives the “I’m not just a pretty face” speech.
Naomi’s 13-year-old daughter lies to Addison about having sex in order to help her friend who has gonorrhea.
And the title plotline where Addison dreams about Pete with no orgasmic result, until the very end when Pete tells her he punched someone out, and she says “Pete the cowboy? Pete the gladiator”? After which, instead of opting to give him a kiss, which he appeared prepared to return, she rushed off to buy a showerhead and “go solo” as all her friends had encouraged her to do.
