Journeyman - The Legend of Dylan McCleen - Review
Published Date: October 28th, 2007Category: SciFi, Journeyman
You would think that time travel would be fun, right? Well, Dan Vassar, a reporter in San Francisco, suddenly finds himself travelling back in time, tracking people’s lives in order to help them through a crisis. He would like to be able to control this skill because it’s messing with his life. He’s only recently been able to convince his wife that he’s not fooling around with his ex-girlfriend when he goes on these “trips”, but the girlfriend continues to meet him in those past times. I think she’s tracking his life, but she hasn’t confirmed that yet. His son, Zack, has lost faith that his dad will be available for events in his young (8-yr-old) life.
But in this episode, Dan feels a trip coming on and starts running through the house calling to his wife that he’s leaving, gathering items he’ll need, not seeing Zack emerge from his bedroom just in time to see Dan turn into a pinpoint of light and disappear.
So now the question is: how nifty is it to see your dad perform “magic” by disappearing right in front of your very eyes? Dan is going to have to deal with this new wrinkle. But, in the meantime, Zack just thinks it is really cool!
