I know that nobody expected the Jags to host the Colts and actually beat them, but I had heard some folks saying they might actually be the 3rd best team in the AFC so I expected there would at least be a close score. Jacksonville started off fairly strong but didn’t score and soon it became clear they probably wouldn’t come back to beat the Colts.
But was that any reason to totally disrespect the Jaguars and, instead of talking about the game that was on the field, discussing the Patriots and the Colts as if the Jags weren’t even there? I think not, and I kept hoping against hope that Jacksonville would bring it and clobber the Colts at the last moment. Of course that didn’t happen and I guess the closest I can hope for is for the Colts to get a routing from the Pats in two weeks.
