Women’s Murder Club - Welcome to the Club - Review

I was reading one of James Patterson’s Women’s Murder Club books over the summer when I found out a tv series was being made based on them. So I had to hurry up and read all 6 of the books in preparation. Well, now there’s a 7th book and I feel that I need to read that one too.
After seeing the pilot episode, though, I don’t think anyone should feel that they need to read these books first. I liked the way the characters were introduced, not as if they didn’t know each other all along and we had to see them meeting each other as some series do, but conversing about subjects that they have all discussed before. Angie Harmon really kicks butt, Laura Harris and Paula Newsome help round out the club with newbie Aubrey Dollar tagging along. I hope the series will last at least a full season and I can’t wait for Linda Park to join the club!
