I thought it was a demotion when I realized that Law & Order: Criminal Intent was airing this season only on USA Network and not on NBC. But then I read that creator Dick Wolf was able to save the show by moving it there and thereby keep all 3 of the Law & Order series afloat.
Eric Bogosion, who recently took over as the boss of the Major Case Squad, had this to say about the move to USA:
“To be on USA and have them embrace us and cheerlead us, we feel we deserve it. USA wants us to succeed. I just hope more people watch it and dig it. It’s so strange — yesterday I was in a shopping mall and I was practically being chased around by people who recognize me from the show. I’m on Law & Order and all the people who wear black in Manhattan don’t know I’m even on the show, and I get recognized when I’m in a shopping mall.”
