I knew that David Anders would play a role in this new season of Heroes, but I never would have imagined how good he would be as the comic relief in Hiro’s life. As the ninja warrior Hiro looked up to and was ready to follow, he turned out to be an Englishman taking advantage of a town in need a leader by keeping the roaming bandits at bay and getting paid very well for his efforts. Underneath it all he appears to be a cowardly sort and it looks as if Hiro might have to step up if there is to be peace in the land. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. In the meantime, I’m having fun watching Anders play the lazy lout, quite a contrast to the role he portrayed in Alias.
Next hero to watch out for: Kristen Bell
