As a Gator fan I am disappointed that my team wasn’t able to win this game against Auburn, but the weekend has proven to be the down point for many top-ranked teams, including Oklahoma and Texas. Though LSU blew out Tulane 34-9, USC just squeaked by Washington at 27-24.
So it seems that LSU may end up as #1 this week unless something goes wrong with the polls. In the meantime, the Gators need to prepare to go to Baton Rouge next week and bring it. Without a solid win in Louisiana I fear the Gators won’t even have a shot at the championship game this year.
