I didn’t realize how much fun it would be to see how Dr. Tom Jackman met his wife! This was one of the creepier episodes because of how understated it was, slowly moving toward what seems to be the first coming of Mr. Hyde.
First the writings of Dr. Jackman to his assistant that cause her to quit her job. Second the incident with the ice cream and the refusal of his wife to talk about it later.
This led to Hyde’s seeking revenge on the thug who publicly humiliated his wife by beating and perhaps killing him. It was a nice touch to have the young partiers laughing at his bizarre behavior dancing around the body, until they saw his vicious attack.
Who knew how hard it would be to flush a bloody ear down the toilet?
