My TV Musings

Well, it’s all over but Amber’s crying!  The Donatos were able to overcome their previous estrangement and make it to the final two and, as Dick is saying, it doesn’t matter who wins, they have won it all!

I guess he’s right, because he has wanted to be able to get closer to his daughter, and this show really brought them together.  It’ll be interesting to see if Dick is happy with Nick waiting for Daniele, now that she will be at least $50K richer, if she doesn’t win it all, which will honestly surprise me.  I would really prefer Dick win this because he might actually not just hand it all over to her.
Another good thing that may come out of this season’s Big Brother is the relationship Eric and Jessica have found.  I hope it is strong enough to withstand the surprise that Eric is America’s Player.  That twist will be exposed on Tuesday during the Big Brother finale.

I found it interesting that Zach was inviting Dick and Daniele to look at his inventions, perhaps hoping they will invest in them.  A win-win for everyone, right?

And the final America’s Player task if for Eric to campaign for and vote for Daniele or Dick, depending on whom America votes the highest.  Signing that contract really gave away Eric’s free will in this show, but at least he has over $30K to show for it.  So who will America want to win?  Dick, that foul-mouthed chain smoker? Or his daughter, Daniele, who has always hugged everyone as they left and wished them luck?  Guess it depends on whether they can see that Dick’s strategy was in effect from day one, while Daniele waited until the moment was ripe to team up with her dad.  I think Daniele will probably win because the majority of the houseguests in the sequester house are all about whoever is the “nicest” person, and there’s no doubt who that is.

Let’s hope for something exciting to happen in the next two episodes, maybe Eric will get on bended knee and propose like Rob did with Amber on Survivor!
