My TV Musings

The good news is that we finally got to go to the sequester house and see Dustin, Jen, Amber, Jessica, and Eric. It is so much more relaxing for them there than at the BB house, but Eric has started to worry, as I have previously, what everyone will think when they find out he is America’s Player.

But back at the BB house: for one brief shining moment I thought the stars might align just right and all would be well with the universe, my roommate and I looked at each other as Daniele took Dick off the block. We hoped against hope that this had been his plan all along, that after 2 years of her not being in contact with him, Dick would finally turn on Daniele and (in his quaint vernacular) tell her to get the f*** out of the house!

It would have been the perfect turning point that I needed to end the season with, but it was not to be, and Dick told Jameka she was evicted from the house. So now my only consolation is that Nick will see how she’s turned into her father and will reject her when the show is over. Of course that’s doubtful if she wins any money and that will happen unless Zach wins HOH and picks Dick. I actually think Zach might have better luck against Dick than Daniele because she played a strategic game rather than the despicable game, as Zach put it, that Dick played, yelling at everyone and putting them down. But, that was his strategy and it has gotten him far.

I’m having trouble picking my number 1 for this game because I have liked Dick, in a way, from the beginning. He’s always kept it interesting and fun, no matter that he got Jessica and Eric kicked out. They will have their love and Eric’s America’s Player’s winnings, if Jessica can overlook his need for secrecy throughout the game.

I would root for Zach but he has been such a coattail rider that I don’t want him to win. So I guess I’ll just hope Zach wins HOH and takes Dick and that Dick wins it all, though I know he’ll probably give most of it to Daniele anyway. At least she can quit her job as a waitress, or was she a stripper?
