Brenda’s folks are still in town and it’s time to take them sight-seeing. What better way to mix business with pleasure while Brenda and her team investigate the murder of a tour bus guide!
Fritz seems to have a lot of time on his hands lately, though it appears that he still has his FBI job. But he has time to schlep around Brenda’s folks and carry her mom’s purse. Get a backbone, man!
Brenda doesn’t wear her engagement ring at work yet, so her team isn’t aware of the news. It’s a good thing Gabriel found out about it and told the team, otherwise Flynn and Sanchez might give them a hard time like Gabriel and Daniels are getting for keeping their dating a secret for so long, though Sanchez has a point, Daniels IS his partner and all.
I know her dad’s a kidder, but it really seems that he wants Fritz out of Brenda’s life. He even went to the extent of putting his arm around Gabriel and joking with him. I’m starting to feel sorry for Fritz.
The scene where Pope reprimanded Brenda in front of her folks was priceless, especially when her dad said “I trust we’ll be seeing you at the wedding” – I wonder just how much the folks know about Brenda and Pope’s affair.
And how about that diagnosis for Brenda to put off the early onset menopause! She has to cut out sweets – she’d rather die! And having to undergo “ovarian drilling” – what a pleasant term that is.
