The surfboards are all waxed and ready to be given out for tonight’s awards ceremony!
There will be a cavalcade of stars performing and Hilary Duff & Nick Cannon will host the party.
Among the stars to appear are Zac Efron, America Ferrera, Eve, Bow Wow, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Omarion, Ryan Reynolds, The Jonas Brothers, Rob & Big and Sum 41 – but the headliners are Kelly Clarkson and Avril Lavigne, performing “Never Again” and “Girlfriend” respectively.
Some of the categories for the awards are Choice Breakout TV Show, Choice Sidekick, Choice Rumble, Choice Rock Track, Choice Athlete and Choice Chemistry. Teens have voted on the nominees in all categories online and via Verizon Wireless text for the following categories: Choice Summer Movie, Choice Summer TV Show, Choice Summer Song and Choice Summer Artist.
