Again I started to Sookie the Cordelia-Taj scenes, until he invited all the doctors over for dinner with his family. Then the fun began: we found that he treats his wife like a slave and ignores his children’s issues - one of them has the beginnings of an eating disorder, the other was flirting with one of Taj’s colleagues.

Thanks to Anne, sticking her nose in where it doesn’t belong, and having no clue about the Taj-Cordelia relationship, Taj’s wife was able to convince her husband that their daughter needs help with her eating disorder because, as she told him when he came to bed, and I’m paraphrasing here, “the 2nd doctor’s opinion is from Cordelia, the woman you’re sleeping with.”

I’m glad to see that Lifetime isn’t backing down from the racists who have complained about the Anne-William relationship. I spoke briefly about these people who cannot condone a fictional relationship of mixed race. I was glad to see that Courtney Vance is coming back to the show next week and he and Anne will pick up where they left off when he went out of town. I know if he showed up in my bed I wouldn’t kick him out!

And lastly I liked the solution to the divorce of the two mommies when the custody of an adolescent was at stake. Having Elizabeth agree to move into the guest bedroom as long as Mary agreed to the “no dates at home” rule was a compromise that was needed to consider the best way for the child to have both of her moms around. No one wants to burden the child with the decision of which mom to live with.
