Just one trip, Martha, that was the agreement. And just like that, the Doctor goes back to the TARDIS and leaves Martha behind, never to be seen again.

But wait, he is coming back. Not to see her, of course, but to find out what the guy on tv meant by changing what it’s like to be human.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen the Doctor as speechless as he was with Martha’s mom.

What happens when this guy finishes the canapes? Will he eat humans? Or does he have to turn younger people into organ donors to stay young?

How ironic that Lazarus is arguing the value of time with the Doctor?

Pretty cool special effects with the creature climbing the walls.

After all the adventure, the Doctor asks Martha to come on another trip with him. She says no, she wants more. He says ok, and they embark on another journey.

Previews of the next episode have the stars of Life on Mars and Torchwood - what a bloody good time that will be!
