They say “it takes one to know one”. Well Patty (Glenn Close) definitely has me believing she’s an accomplished liar like she told Katie. But perhaps Katie is giving Patty, and us, a run for the money. Katie seems to have some secrets and they may get her killed.
Poor Arthur. Deftly portrayed by Ted Danson, seemingly evil Arthur has, while in the cocaine-inspired throes of passion, put a hit out on Katie. But when she comes around and signs the confidentiality agreement as his lawyer has been hounding her to do, Arthur is desperate to call off the killer. Will it be too late?
Maybe the killer will get to her brother instead. After all, he IS the victim in the bathtub, not Katie.
And Patty was able to soothe her conscience for having had Katie’s dog killed by giving her a puppy - how sweet!
