This is such a quirky comedy-drama that I find it hard to drop from my list of shows to watch each week.
Lily Taylor is a weird, fanciful woman who is strong enough to stick to her guns and not take back her husband, and he is portrayed as a flighty guy who will do what he wants anyway so she’s probably better off.
Last week we met her mom and this week we see into her thoughts about women who give up their babies when they are teenagers. Makes you wonder if she has personal experience with such an event.
Then there’s James, the child therapist with the lovely accent. His ex-wife visits and tells him she’s dying. She collapses and has to be taken to the hospital where a doctor tells them she’s fine, just fainted from not eating enough. She had been so sure when she saw how black her shakra was and then it had been confirmed by her psychic. Well, I’m kind of glad that James chose not to get back with her because the show can’t really handle another nutcase. But she WAS sweet!
