Big Brother Update

Various observations:

  • Who knew that America’s Player, Eric, could cause such a stir in the house this week? His vote for Kail to leave the house is so secret, nobody can figure out who cast it. And it has become a big deal, people sneaking around discussing it. Many of them believe it was cast by Nick.
  • I’m worried what might happen if Nick, or anyone else, in the house found out about Eric’s voting for Kail and especially if they find out he is America’s Player. He’s been doing a fairly good job of staying under the radar.
  • It looked like we might have been given a reprieve from Amber’s waterworks this week since her friend, Dustin, became HOH. But no… she has to cry tears of joy for his getting it! And later, Dustin gave Amber a run for her money, shedding tears of happiness after reading the letters from home. No wonder they’re friends.
  • It sounded like Kail was surprised that Dustin’s parents accept him for what he is – I wonder if she would be able to do the same if one of her children were gay.
  • Dick should stop picking on Amber while Dustin is HOH – doesn’t he realize what power that gives her as Dustin’s best friend?
  • What was that about Dick sneaking around at night and booby-trapping the kitchen sink so Daniele got sprayed on when she got up in the morning?
  • They compared Zach to Eeyore and Daniele can’t stand it when he says he wants to look her up after the show.
  • Are Eric and Jessica forging an alliance or just becoming friends?
  • Dustin seemed to be having a great time as king during the food competition, ordering folks around and waving his wand.
  • When Jen and Dustin discussed that 2nd Kail vote and Dustin mentioned the mustard, it was priceless when Jen said “Maybe it’s the same person.”
