What a wonderful roller coaster this show is! How can you not love the Doctor.
First, the American Gothic painting incarnate, then the Face of Boe?
As I wonder whether the Doctor will ever tell Martha he’s the last of the time lords, I realize he will always be running away from his past.
Can he not go back in time before the big war, before his planet is destroyed?
And who, really is the Face of Boe?
The motorway was a very clever concept, full of people ready to leave a dead city, willing to spend most of their lives striving for a better life somewhere else.
And to have the Face of Boe practically quote the end of Star Wars: “there is another”.
Martha better get over her jealousy because this thing is bigger than both she and the Doctor, he has to find who the “other” is and we get the fun of going along for the ride. What excitement awaits!
