My TV Musings

This show was all about romance and relationships. Andy and Josh are clueless that they belong together so she helps him plan his first date with some hottie. She gets an inkling when Kyle mentions it but is resigned to helping Josh just the same. Shades of Some Kind of Wonderful with Mary Stuart Masterson and Eric Stoltz.

When the girl stood up Josh he realized Kyle had been right about Andy so he went over to her house. I liked the way Andy claimed the date with Josh. They really are right for each other. And, in the end, it’s all about toe-tapping, right?

As for Declan and Jesse, hmmm, we’ll see.

Jesse was learning about romance watching old movies. So when she told Declan to kiss her, he did. That’s always the best way to start any relationship, lots of sex and no meaningful communication.  While Jesse demands kisses, Emily merely flirts with Stephen at work. Is it possible that both Jesse and Emily will be planning clandestine relationships? At least Declan’s no longer spoken for, but will Stephen remember that only Nicole makes his toes tap?

As for Lori, she was upset when Declan left with Jesse before her performance. But she remembered that Kyle said it’s not about him, it’s about her.  I wonder if that’s really the actress singing. She’s pretty good.

And now I want Kyle to be my big brother. I wonder if Jesse will ever become so wise?

Boy, did Foss blow up when he found out Nicole knows that Kyle is special. Is he trying to protect the Tragars or is he just possessive of Kyle because he wants to use him for something? I was hoping Foss was one of the good guys, but apparently at least Adam was leary of him. That’s why he buried the memory deep in Kyle’s brain and only when Andy said “Remember this moment” were his visions triggered. And the vision was seeing the cd hidden in the book, right under Foss’ nose where Kyle could easily take it without Foss knowing about it - or did he? Could Foss have known it was there all along and left town when he discovered it missing?

So what does Viz Allati mean? Did it translate to be “under water”? Amanda gave Kyle the clue to the mystery - numeric cyphers. Why did Foss leave? Did he know that Kyle would be on to him? The mystery has just begun.

After all of that, let’s not forget that Kyle and Jesse finally met. And caused an earthquake.  I definitely want to see more of what happens when they meet.  Do you think Adam knew XX existed before he died?
