My TV Musings

When I found out this series was burning off its’ final episodes I wasn’t planning on watching them. But then I received a few comments praising its’ virtues, so I tried it out. And I enjoyed what I saw so I kept watching it and now I actually care what happens to Matt and Emily. I think they work together really well as a team and they don’t gush all over each other, though Matt needs a little bit more backbone, but that can come within the next season.

Of course, even more than Ron Livingston, who I loved in Office Space, I enjoy watching Gina Torres. From Firefly to Serenity to Alias, she’s always fun to watch.

Now I can add Rosemary DeWitt to the list of actors to watch, but that doesn’t mean I’m trying out her new show, Mad Men. Too many boring suits.

But I WILL be watching this week’s series finale of this action-packed and fun show. Here’s to Standoff, may it come out on DVD soon so we won’t forget it.
