Sunday Premieres: 3 New Shows
Published Date: July 14th, 2007Category: New Shows, Reality, State of Mind
“Side Order of Life,” Marisa Coughlan (of Boston Legal) portrays a magazine photographer who receives a mysterious cell phone call that turns her world upside down, considering whether her life choices are correct, throwing all she knows out of whack. Co-stars Jason Priestley (Beverly Hills 90210, Tru Calling). Lifetime at 7PM CST
SCOTT BAIO IS 45… AND SINGLE (VH1) - Having enjoyed some hot love affairs with the likes of Heather Locklear, Pam Anderson, Denise Richards and Nicolette Sheridan, Scott Baio has led a life envied by many a man (and woman for that matter!). But at the ripe old age of 45, he wants to settle down and find someone he can commit to for the duration. In this reality show, he will turn to a well-known life coach who will help him face his past exes (hopefully not in one sitting, I don’t think Heather and Denise are getting along too well these days!) and discuss past mistakes — I understand Happy Days co-star Erin Moran might drop in — and he may have to deal with life changing issues such as abstinence before this whole grueling ordeal is over. It could prove to be quite a hilarious journey for the audience if not for dear old Scott! VH1 at 9:30PM CST
“State of Mind.” A therapist finds herself needing a little therapy herself after she finds that her husband and her marriage counselor are having an affair–but wait! Doesn’t that prove that therapy doesn’t necessarily work? Well, perhaps it did for the husband! Lifetime at 9PM CST

I have all three of these shows set to record on my DVR already. But what about the sure to be cheesy “Rock of Love”?
Dagny:
I wish Time Warner Cable allowed me to set up 3 shows at once, not that I’d watch the Scott Baio thing. And the Rock of Love was just too much of a cheesefest for me to add it to the post! Have you SEEN Bret Michaels lately?

Yes, that’s why I’m sure the show will be cheesy. And here’s how I am able to tape all four. VH1 usually shows at least one of it’s Sunday evening shows on Sunday morning. Today it will be the Scott Baio show. Starting next week, I believe the Scott Baio thing will air at 11 a.m. and Rock of Love at noon. Oh, and the two Lifetime shows are rerun at around midnight each week.
