SciFi Channel will air episodes from Season 1 of Tru Calling starting July 10 at 6pm CST, showing 2 back-to-back episodes every Tuesday through the end of August.
Tru is a college girl who finds herself reliving days when dead people ask her for help. Between college classes and working at the morgue she has to make time to track down the person before they die and it’s not always an easy thing to do. With the help of her scatterbrained brother and her quirky boss, Tru finds a way to balance it all. This, like Alias, takes a cue from Run, Lola, Run, because Tru does not have a car and seems to run wherever she goes.
Knowing Eliza Dushku as the evil vampire slayer on Buffy, I came into this show already liking the actress. I found this to be a fun, action-packed show and I’ll probably watch it as it runs this summer. It is on my list of DVDs I want to own.
