Big Brother Premiere Review

I picked Jessica and Nick earlier this week and they were the first two houseguests interviewed at the top of the show!  I thought that might be an omen but found out quickly that I may need to drop them and pick up someone else to keep an eye on because there are at least a few others more interesting on the show.

Take Dustin and Joe, ex-lovers who hate each other and tell two different stories about what happened to break them up!  Dustin says Joe got together with one of Dustin’s friends and Joe says that he did everything he could to ruin Dustin’s life after he got gonorrhea from Dustin.  So which story is true or are they both true - I’m not sure it matters but Dustin appeared to be a little more in control of himself so I’ll root for him, at least for the moment.

And then there’s the Jessica-Carol rivalry, from 7th grade?  I’m hoping they’ll just laugh it off and maybe start an alliance.  Which it looks like from the previews is what Danielle and her dad “Call me Evil Dick” might just do.

And Eric seems eager to fulfill America’s wishes as America’s Player, the twist where he has to do whatever America tells him to do without letting the other houseguests know his strings are being pulled.

Well, it was an interesting show and I hope it can live up to some of the great earlier seasons we’ve all come to love and look back on fondly.
