In honor of NBC’s rerunning the final 8 episodes of this fine drama (starting 6/24 11PM CST) for the next 8 Sundays, I just wanted to put in my two-cents worth.
Jeremy Sisto and Timothy Hutton, what more do I need to say? But seriously, Kidnapped has an excellent cast, including Dana Delany, Delroy Lindo, and Mykelti Williamson. But the one I found myself watching most closely through this series was Will Denton (Leopold Cain), the kidnapped son. Knapp (Sisto) and King (Lindo) may have been the professionals working to get him out, but Leo did his share of distracting and fighting to keep himself alive, including escaping at least once and doing some pretty serious damage to several people!
Even if you’ve never watched the first 5 shows, I highly recommend you tape these remaining 8 and try it out - though the series was cancelled, it does wrap up all the loose ends and it’s on MY dvd list to buy!
