You have to remember I’m new to this show. But my first thought, when the second crisis tore Matt away from Emily and Carrera, was: can’t the women handle a crisis on their own? Doesn’t LA have enough hostage negotiators to handle several crises at once? And then Emily actually called him for advice! OMG…but fortunately he gave her an idea and away she went on her own.
At least she didn’t get complacent about things and assume the terrorists would follow a script, as Matt did with HIS hostage taker! I would think it would be one of the worst things anyone could do to assume that the same thing would work every time, especially in a job like that.
But then we find out that Neal’s shrink has been using him to kill her husband all along, and that’s gonna get Matt off the hook? I guess so. Even though it looked to me that he was totally distracted by Emily and her crisis. But it all worked out in the end, and wasn’t that a creative ending to the subway crisis, seeing those fingerprints on the windows!
So next week, William Russ as a religious freak trying to destroy the world? I’ll have to see it to believe it…this show has certainly grown on me!
