It's not right to make those kind of assumptions. I just hope that all the unwanted attention does not turn Allison away from the sport. She was not at her best this past Saturday at the California High School Track and Field Championships. Did she purposely "tank" to avoid MORE unwanted attention? I hope not. I have to agree it sounds a bit hypocritical, the way the family has changed their stance on marketing their daughter.
