A couple of very interesting finale episodes indeed.

I think we were all thrown off by the first (probably) Flash Forward.

Guess I'll throw in my 2 cents....

*) Jack is probably driven to suicidal drinking because he realizes that getting off the island was the worst thing he could have done... not so much for himself, but for everyone else on the island, who now (as Ben cautioned) would all die... and they ARE all dying off.

*) It's probably inappropriate for Jack's Ex to take him home because she is either re-married, or Jack is married?

*) I noticed a LOT of violence in these episodes. It struck me particularly hard that the plane crash survivors have been killing a LOT of people whereas the Others have not really been killing anyone. Even Ben shooting Locke. It seemed very odd to me at the time that Ben (knowing the islands healing powers, and having just seen Mikhail come back "from the dead") would have left Locke without making double sure he was REALLY REALLY dead first. I have wondered if Ben's intention was perhaps just to slow Locke down? Or, maybe Ben did intend to kill him, but at this point we're not sure Ben is totally sane, and could be an answer to the shooting. In any case, when it comes to one "side" killing the other. It just seems like the survivors are killing the Others, while the Others just (usually) kill their own.

*) Kate is almost certainly pregnant. I think that has been part of an upcoming plot development for a couple months now.

Well, enough for now. I refuse to think about this any longer... since I'm sure to have Lost totally out of my head by the time it airs again! SHEESH !

what happend to walt and his father, where did those coordinates lead to, what was that black smoke, what was the dharma ini. Where the hell did that polar bear came from, why is it that one time the hatch was only 10 min. walking and the other time almost 2 hours. Why the hell is Richard not aged in 30 years.
What the hell is that wispering in the woods.
Where did that hole in the ground lead to where locke ended up after being dragged through the woods.

I just want to point out the fact that there are full of motifs from the Bible as you all found out about. Namaste?(the official greeting of Dalma initiative) is I believe "peace" in Indian. People who let go and forgive... like the old couple (They guys is white-Caucasian and the lady is African-American)...the lady let go, and she's very free, and seems to know a lot about island even though she didn't mention many things.

She felt something because she let it go. She was fully ready for her death even though the husband was not ready. That's why she could see things others can't.

Let's go back to Locke. He didn't let go, and still can't let go. Because he didn't either kill (the opposite of forgiving) or forgive his father. He let Sawyer to kill his father which is closer to the opposite of forgiving.

Now the key to our lives is to let it go. Forgive in the situation where no one can imagine forgiving. So what the island offered to each one was the chance to choose. Either one can fight it (in this case, things got really ugly..as you know..) or you can let it go.

Then we should be curious about why they are given with this chance. Jakc's life was quite miserable when he boarded on that Oceanic plane. See what his life is like after he came back to his life. He's more messed up than ever before asking to go back to the island.

Then next question is what the heck is in the island that Jack sooooo wants to go back to? That's the kind of question we should ask.

Kate's appearance was quite the opposite of Jack's. She looked more shiny than ever, and her appearance was directly contrasted with Jack's miserable looks. And her eyes and tears were telling us that she symphasize Jack, but she really didn't mention whether she wants to go back to the island or not.

NOW IS THE TIME TO GO BACK TO THE BIBLE THING I TALKED ABOUT....

What does the Bible tell us? It tells us that life has both sides. Heaven and hell. What leads to heaven? That's forgiving, loving, and sacrificing.

The island seems to me a symbol of the choices we make - the moments in our lives when we're asked to make decisions. We are fully capable of making choices. What we have to do in our lives is to make decisions - whether we let things go, or stick to them.

Jack didn't let things go. We can see that from the remarks he made about his father. His father is more messed up that he is... drinking...

Well, I can't describe how things will unveil in Season 4 since it's up to writer's hand. There are so many little gadget-like setups that the writer put in this drama. It's like the writer saved a lot of M&Ms in his pocket so that he could have it whenever he wants to have some snack.

But what I am sure about... is that this drama is about forgiving and letting things go... which allows me to watch this drama in that way. Maybe I'm totally wrong. At least the guys who made this drama did such a good job that there are so many people who understand this drama in their own way, which I think is the single greatets character of well-written masterpiece. It opens up the interpretation, and let people see it in their own eyes.

Peace!
