5/23 – Wednesday
Not much to choose from tonight, but I plan to stay up as late as I have to so I can watch both American Idol and Lost!
7pm:
Fox: American Idol has a 2-hour 6th season finale highlighted by the crowning of the next American idol, who will it be? Justin Sparks or Blake Lewis? And what special guests will they have this year – this is usually a big event and lots of fun no matter who wins – with Melinda gone I’m sure a lot of people don’t even care which of these two wins!
8pm:
ABC: Lost has a 2-hour 3rd season finale where Jack and the other castaways attempt to contact Naomi’s ship

5/24 – Thursday
Some reality, some fiction about reality, and my favorite of the night, some justice!
7pm:
BBC America: Innocent – 2 episodes back to back – click here for my take
Fox: So You Think You Can Dance has an 85-minute 3rd season premiere – the auditions begin
825pm:
Fox: On the Lot has a 35-minute episode – Guest Judges Carrie Fisher; Brett Ratner; Garry Marshall; and Jon Avnet narrow the field
9pm:
NBC: Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip – although this show hasn’t been picked up for another season, NBC has decided to run the last 6 episodes during this time slot – in an interview, Amanda Peet shrugs off talk that S60 tried to be too smart for the room. “It was definitely very ambitious,” she tells TVGuide.com, “but a part of me wonders if, had it been an unknown writer-creator instead of Aaron Sorkin, we would have had more time to find our tone and focus. Because we were under a microscope from the moment we arrived, it was very difficult for the creators to feel free to follow the strengths of the show and see that through.”

5/25 – Friday
Since so many shows have finished for the season, I’ll be on the lookout for that next great thing – in the meantime, a couple of great reruns and one show that will probably never rerun!
6pm:
SciFi: Heroes: How to Stop an Exploding Man – in case you missed the finale Monday or want to see it again
7pm:
ABC: Six Degrees – this is the series finale for those of you who still care about this show
SciFi: Stargate SG-1 – one of my favorite scifi shows continues it’s final season with a recent rerun before airing the final 4 episodes – our favorite team will continue their adventures with a few straight-to-DVD movies as well as an online show for Amanda Tapping – check back here for details
=========================================
5/26 – Saturday
If you’re into pro basketball, this is your night, so DVR Robin Hood and watch it later – as long as the Spurs are in it I’ll at least be watching the last few minutes of every game!
7pm:
ABC: Sports Special: NBA Countdown
NBC: Chicago – what could be better than 3 hours worth of Catherine Zeta-Jones singing, Richard Gere mugging for the camera (and very well I might add), Renee Zellweger doing her little-girl-lost routine maybe one too many times, John C. Reilly kicking butt (acting wise that is), and Queen Latifah being the diva she is
730pm:
ABC: Sports Special: NBA Playoffs: Western Conference Finals, Game 3
8pm:
BBC America: Robin Hood has its 1st season finale – click here for my take
=========================================
5/27 – Sunday
4pm:
Fox: Sports Special: NASCAR ‘07: Coca-Cola 600 – believe it or not, the stars of the Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer will be visiting – do you really believe Michael Chiklis will put on the Thing suit and stand in the hot sun of Charlotte?
8pm:
CBS: 48 Hours Mystery – a heart surgeon’s wife is shot to death – Leslie Stahl hosts this show that takes you through the investigation
