How to Stop an Exploding Man - they do tend to be pretty specific with the episode titles, don’t they? Are we sure yet whether we want to stop the exploding man? Some of the villians are opting to let him destroy most of Manhattan so that Nathan Petrelli, as the next president, can unite everyone through impressive handling of the disaster. Could this be a backhanded slap at Rudy Giuliani during these tumultuous real-time presidential campaigns? Ah but that’s for a different website. I have no idea where this show can go for another season, especially since there is rumor of a spin-off series in the works. As for last week’s episode, we won’t be seeing Eric Roberts as Thompson anymore and, frankly, I’ll miss him.

Agree about Eric Roberts - a fine actor, always memorable!
Ahh.. I’m glad I’m not the only one who picked up on the “I’m a terrorist”, “nuke New York”, “Congressman becomes President”, “good things come out of catastrophy” thing.
In any event, I’ve decided we can’t trust the future. I forget the exact episode(s?), but I seem to remember some “glitch” with Hiro, Sylar, Nathan and some time-travel event(s) which couldn’t have BOTH happened. — if that IS the case, then the future CAN be changed, and if that’s true, and ANYTHING can happen… including going back in time to save previously dead people, etc.
