Medium Season Finale - Review

The hype was that Allison’s secret gets out to the public, causing at least me to assume that people would freak out and want her to read their tea leaves and hound her day and night. But they apparently live in the real world and people there don’t freak about news like that, they just don’t believe you and get outraged that the D.A.’s office would give credence to anything Allison ever says. So the D.A. leaves town in order to avoid being driven out and his supposed friend takes over for him.

The reporter who stirred up all this trouble certain got her comeuppance by getting herself killed but she also solved the case by having her recorder going throughout the struggle. Jason Priestley certainly can play evil well, having done a great job on Tru Calling also.

And Allison’s poor husband is also a victim of this, losing his job because his company will not insure him to come back. So they are both out of work right now. I hope Ariel is old enough to get a good summer job to help out!

I’m glad this show has been renewed but it looks like it will go head-to-head with Desperate Housewives and perhaps not until after football, so next year.
