I’m sorry to say that this show has been cancelled. After the ending of last week’s episode, where Jordan actually called her dad, I was hoping Ken Howard would come back on the show, but it doesn’t look like that will happen now.
Anyway, this Wednesday’s episode was filmed before knowing it would be the series finale so I’m pretty sure it’ll leave us hanging as far as the fates of the characters go. The gang from the morgue goes on a plane trip that goes awry (don’t they all!) and they crash land in the mountains. Apparently no one is badly hurt, except the dead bodies they already had aboard the plane, having picked them up in Norway! So while Woody and Bug try to find a way off the mountain, the others cuddle together (can you picture Jordan with Macy and Kate with Nigel?) and autopsy the bodies!
Guess we have to say goodbye to Crossing Jordan, it had a nice 6-year run and introduced me to Steve Valentine, whom I hope to see in many more ventures! It also made me realize that Jill Hennessy isn’t just a mousy assistant DA (Law & Order), but can play a fiesty strong medical examiner also. And who knew that Miguel Ferrer was sexy!

I’m sorry to hear it is the series finale. I didn’t know that. Hmmm….plane crash, eh? Maybe they can join the Lost series! LOL!
Waatched the seaon finale last year not knowing that it was a 2 parter. so then I get hooked only for it to be cancelled.I thought that the description was juswt wwrong when it said series finale.
Another heartbroken and very-pissed-off Jordan fan here. What is WRONG with NBC?

I can not believe this show has been taken off the air! I love this show! Maybe they will bring it back eventually! If we all send them messages.
I have been a loyal fan since it first aired. How could they do this to me??? And still no word if it’ll ever be released on DVD.
I just realized I had not seen Crossing Jordon on the schedule. With NBC knocking off shows for special events (like football)I had to go looking. NBC is losing viewers for the reason that they get rid of shows that take some brains to watch and understand. Some of the junk on now is Chuck, Bionic Woman, all of Thursday nites lineup, Friday Nite Lights, most outrageous moments and any number of 1/2 hour situation comedies? Why are we watching cable? Many of their shows are better than so called primetime shows.
