When I saw that Lloyd Owen of Monarch of the Glen was taking the Kyle Maclachan-inspired role in the BBC America show, Innocent, I immediately wanted to watch it. The American version of this show, In Justice, aired for 13 episodes in early 2006, and introduced us to a team of law students dedicated to researching and overturning wrongful convictions led by a hotshot attorney (Maclachan) and a former cop played by Jason O’Mara. In the “small world” department, Jason was on Monarch of the Glen for a 5-episode run in 2001.
