The Shield is an action-packed, take-no-prisoners show that is not for people who like their law and order in black and white. The ambiguity of the characters is what fans of this show love so much. You love to hate and hate to love them but you have to keep coming back for more. These cops put their lives on the line every time they hit the streets and it almost seems like a natural outcome that they would cross the line between good and evil.
For those of you who like your cop shows gritty, watch the Season 6 premiere on the FX Network this Tuesday.
