I think Crossing Jordan is ready to end its run. Her dad left the show a long time ago, Lily is leaving, and Jordan has a terrible disease we don’t want to see. Her boyfriend was murdered and she’s nowhere near ready to pick up her relationship with Woody again. It’s been a nice run and I’ve enjoyed all the characters and stories but I’m ready to see Steve Valentine and Jill Hennessey is new vehicles for their talents.
One of the recent episodes I really enjoyed was about Ron Silver and his role in all their lives. His character was hit by a car and thought to be dead so we got to see in clips how they had all interacted with him. We also got to hear in voiceover how he reacted to his not being dead and not being able to get it across to the people in the morgue. I decided I’d keep the episode as an homage to the show in general.
