What fun tonite’s show was! I love both Peter Noone (of the 60’s group Herman’s Hermits) and Lulu (most famous for singing the theme song to the Sidney Poitier movie “To Sir, With Love) and was hoping to hear them sing tonite. I just heard on the news that Herman… er, I mean Peter… will sing his “There’s a Kind of Hush” on Wednesday’s show. Woo Hoo! If only they could get Lulu to sing her song my night will be made.
Back to tonite’s show, though… Everyone, yes even Sanjaya, stepped up tonite. Who would have believed it! Sanjaya’s rendition of The Kinks’ “You Really Got Me” was a change of voice for him that I enjoyed for a change. Did you see that poor, misguided girl who was bawling she was so happy to be near that teenybopper poster guy!
Let’s hope that Sanjaya or Haley goes away this week but they need to keep Jordin, Melinda, Blake and Stephanie above all!
