Blood Ties

If you haven’t found this new show on Lifetime yet, I highly recommend you try it out. And, no, it is not a chick show because I wouldn’t like it if it was. It’s based on a series of books about a female private investigator, former cop, who finds herself embroiled in relationships with two very different men. One, her former partner in the Police Department, and her newfound guy friend, Henry, who just happens to be a vampire. She and Henry meet as a result of an investigation she is pursuing to find out who (or what) killed her client’s boyfriend. Henry is trying to track down the evildoers because he does not believe in feeding on people himself. When her 2 guy friends meet they immediately start posturing for her and it is hilarious. The action sequences are obviously badly edited but it’s a campy romp that’s dramatic with comedic elements that will keep me watching it at least a few more times to see what they do with it. Sunday nights on Lifetime
